全国の神さまを一同に祀る

　吉田神社の末社の斎場所大元宮には、全国の神さますべてが祀られている。さすが神道本所。
　祀られている神さまは、式内神3132柱！　ここをお参りすればすべての神さまの守護が得られるんだって。

　それはともかく、この大元宮はカッコいい。八角形の建物に茅葺きの屋根がちょこんとのっかっている。普段は楼門から内は禁足だが、正月三ヶ日と毎月一日、節分の日は、内側で参拝できる。
　八角形のお社が全国にどんだけあるかは知らないけれど、ボクは初めて。仏教寺院の影響かもしれないが、とても特殊な形ではないだろうか。
　この大元宮で特殊神事（＠吉田神社HP）が節分の時に執り行われるというから、幻想が膨らみますな。
　
　ご縁があったら、間近で拝見したい。

神楽岡を散策し損ねたらしい

　吉田神社を参拝したとき、ボクは摂社末社をすっかり見過ごしていた。
　今度は見過ごさない、という備忘録の意味で。
　
　山陰神社は、創建した藤原山陰を祀っている。この人は料理の鉄人だったらしく、料理の神さまとして祀られている。５月８日の例大祭では、箸と包丁だけで、素手で触らずに魚をさばく生間流（いかまりゅう）包丁式などが奉納。

　お菓子の神さま「菓祖神社」。あとは、若宮社、今宮社、龍神社、天満社などなど。
　京都をお訪ねの際は、足元を固めて神楽岡散策もおすすめだ。
