【手作り】鳥飼八幡宮のおはぎ【サイコー】

境内で手作りおはぎが販売されるんです。
本日は１日ということで、行って参りました。おはぎをいただきに。
おはぎの授与所は、神門のたもと。緋毛氈に真っ赤な看板。そして、おそろいの白い法被。プチお祭りですね。めでたいくも縁起がいい。
このおはぎは、宮司さんの奥さま山内真紀子さんの手作り。一緒に陶芸教室をされている下条さんと協力して、前日から準備する。
十勝産の大納言の小豆に、真紀子さんのご実家（嘉麻市）でとれたもち米、と来たと南のコラボレート。
丁寧に丁寧に作り込むから、多くても70個ほどを作るのがやっと。
１個100円。
午後のおやつにいただいたが、しっとりとして小豆の風味がしっかり。程よい甘さ。事務所のみなさんに１個ずつの計算で購入したが、あと２つくらいは、おいしくいただけたはず。
お彼岸の時に、我が母カズヨが作ってくれたおはぎを思い出した。もう長いことカズヨのおはぎは食べていない。
お話をうかがっている間、参拝の方がどんどんおはぎを購入されていく。
毎回購入されているというタカキさん。「ここ２回買い逃した」というご夫婦。11時ごろには完売してしまうというから、なかなかの人気。
真紀子さんは、お客さま一人ひとりと言葉を交わしていらっしゃる。ご子息の山内圭司権禰宜も、笑みを浮かべて応対。
ちょっとうれしい、ホノボノ光景だ。
おはぎを販売しはじめたのは昨年９月から。
ご実家のもち米を「鳥飼さんに」といただいたことがきっかけで、はじめられたとのこと。
神社とお米はもともと関係が深い。
祈願の供物には必ず米がつきものだし。神田で神さまに奉納するお米をお宮も多い。毎年11月23日には、宮中で新嘗祭も執り行われる。
神社にはお神酒がつきもの。本来は神さまに奉納された神饌（しんせん・みにえ）であるお米を加工して、神さまがいただく食べ物の「おすそわけ」的に直らうもの。
福はもともと、神さまに捧げたお酒のことを意味する漢字だった。
お米の加工品ということならば、おはぎなど、お米の和菓子だって、そう。あんこを入れたお餅を「大福」と呼ぶのは、そういうこと。
お伊勢さんに赤福。太宰府天満宮に梅ヶ枝餅。
神社と甘味は切っても切れないもので、鳥飼八幡宮でも以前は茶店があって甘味を出していたそう。
酒造技術は神社を中心に継承発展してきた歴史があるが、おそらく和菓子もそうなんじゃないか。もちろん、茶の湯文化でガガガっと花開いたのだろうが。
おはぎの販売は、古式にのっとりながら、新鮮な感じ。
また鳥飼八幡宮では、朝市なども開催しているという。多分、ご近所の方はご存知なはず。
