老松神社

　老松神社は、各地におわすお宮だが、同じ名前のお宮でも主祭神が違っていたりして、一口にまとめられないお宮さんでもある。
　
　空港のそばの老松神社さんは、一の鳥居からズンズンとなかなか歩かせるお宮さんだ。
　マンションや家屋をすり抜けるように参道が伸びていて、かたわらは桜並木だろうか？　花吹雪のなかを歩くのは気持ち良さそう。
　
　参道の鳥居のなかには、真新しいのに「天保四年」という年号の入った鳥居があった。天保というのは、江戸時代の終わりだから、いまから軽く150年前のもの。福岡西方沖地震で倒壊した「天保鳥居」を再建したようで、姿形はこのままだったのだろうか？　古くから尊崇されてきたことを伝えるために、再建立というのは「アリ」だと思う。

　老松神社は小高い丘の上におわして、神域はけっこう広い。冬だというのに、鳥の声がピーヒャラピーヒャラ聞こえてきて、寒々しい感じがしなかった。
　
　御由緒によると、老松宮は寛政二（1790）年にこの地に安置された、とある。神社としては比較的新しい。寛政のころに、この辺りが「村」として独立したのか。それとも、もともと別の土地から御遷宮されたのか。

　古くからおわすお宮はとても尊い。お宮は、人の暮らしや風習があってからできるもの。この地に人の暮らしが栄えたことの証が、お宮の創建である。新しいお宮は、先人のみなさまのガンバリを伝えてくれるので、それはそれで尊いものだ。

　老松宮は新しいとはいえ、お宮はなかなか古さびている。棟札を確認するのは忘れたけれど、かなり古いものではないだろうか。寛政二年にまでさかのぼれるかどうかは、分からないけれど、天保くらいまでは…。
　それくらいの趣を感じる。

　拝殿のなかは、ボクの好きな奉納絵馬がズラリズラリ。天井の真ん中には恵方盤もあるが、塗料が全部落ちてしまっていて、これじゃどっちが恵方なのか分からないよ！　ということではなくて、全方位恵方ということ。
　老松神社の氏子さんはシヤワセものだ。
