ラブホ街の奥地に

　平尾の愛欲の丘のちょいと向こう側に、平尾八幡宮がある。ボクは今日の今日まで知らなかったが、結構由緒のあるお社のようである。
　八幡宮のほかに天神さまも祀る天満宮もある。ボクは常日ごろ寄り道通勤しているが、最近は遠目にこんもりとした杜を見かけると「もしや！？」と駆けつける。そうやって「発見」したのが平尾八幡さんだった。

そもそも福岡には何社あるのか？

　百度を踏むにあたって、いちど福岡市内にどれだけ神社があるか調べたことがある。「ｉタウンページ」では、47件のヒット。社務所があり、宗教法人として登録している数はそのくらいということ。

　一方神社本庁のホームページで検索すると、231社あった。実はこのときに「お百度踏めるな」と安心したのだ。
　元寇神社もしっかり掲載されていて、心強いデータベースなのだが、行き当たりばったりで当座は行きたい。

　偶然の出会いに何か必然性を感じさせるのが、心意気だと思うからである。
