忘れていないか？ 小烏神社
小烏神社は、神社本庁のHPで検索して、目がけてお詣りした神社だった。ボクは、薬院に5年ほど暮らし、今も薬院の事務所で仕事をさせていただいているが、この薬院町の産土神のことはまったく知らなかった。なんだか、もうしわけない。
打ち合わせが終わって、地図を頼りに向かうと・・・。なるほど。高台に鎮座まします。
石段を登る前に、案内看板を見ると「ご祭神は建角身神（たけつぬみのかみ）といわれています」と少々自信なさげな表示。
建角身神はおそらく、賀茂建角身神のことだと思われる。この神様は、天地開闢のときに最初に現れた造化三神の神産巣日神（かみむすびのかみ）の子孫といわれ、神武天皇東征の折に道案内した八咫烏のことだという。
八咫烏といえば、サッカー日本代表のエンブレム。サッカーの神様にしちゃってもいいんじゃないかな。
八咫烏だから、小烏神社なのか？ などと考えつつ石段を上っていくと、かたわらには打ち壊された石碑の台座なんかが無造作に転がっている。廃墟感がただよう。階段を上りつめると、社務所があるそこそこ趣のあるお社だった。ホッとした。
